About – Web Trading system Login

  1. What can I do if I forgot my password ?

You can click “Forgot Password” on the login page.  The system will ask you for the “User Name” and the “Registered Email”.  If the information you entered is correct, the System will send you a new password to your registered email address immediately.

  1. How can I login the Web Trading system ?

You can first get into our website www.globalmsec.com.  There is a button “Online Trade Login” on the top right corner.  Then you will need to enter your user name (which is your trading account number) and password. 

You can find the login information from the Welcome Letter and Password Letter.                                       

  1. How can I change the password from Web Trading system ?

After you login to our Web Trading system, there is a button “Account Management” on the left of the trading platform.  You can see “Change Password” after you click in.  Then please follow the system instruction and enter the old and new passwords.

  1. How can I change the original password during the first time login ?

The system will ask you to change the password immediately after you login at the first time.

  1. What can I do if my password is locked ?

You can click “Forgot Password” on the login page.  The system will ask you for the “User Name” and the “Registered Email”.  If the information you entered is correct, the system will send you a new password to your registered email address immediately.

  1. Why I cannot receive the Welcome Letter and Password Letter ?

Please check whether the email address is correct or not and check the junk box of your email address.

If you still cannot find any related emails, please call our customer service hotline (852) 2763 3939.  We will send you the details via email once our staff has confirmed your personal detail.

The working hours of our office is 09:00-12:00, 13:00-18:00 every Monday to Friday. (exclude Saturday, Sunday and public holiday)

About – Two-factor Authentication “2FA”

  1. How can I register the Software Token APP ?
    Please click “software token first time registration for detail.

  2. What are the system requirements for installation of Software Token APP?
    - Android version: 4.4 or above (Fingerprint unlock function: Android 6.0 or above), or
    - Apple iOS version: 9.0 or above
    - Auto time / day synchronization function

  3. Can I register my software token in more than one application ?
    No. Due to security reason, your software token can only be registered in one application.

  4. If I forget the password to open “Ayers Software Token”, what can I do ?
    If you forget the password to open “Ayers Software Token”, please delete the APP and install again.
    For security reasons, all saved codes will be deleted. Please register again after reinstalling.

  5. If I change my mobile phone, what should I do ?
    You have to install “Ayers Software Token” APP again in the new mobile phone. Once the software token is successfully registered with the same internet account number, the “Ayers Software Token” APP installed in your old mobile phone will be invalid automatically.

  6. If I lose my mobile phone which has already registered the “Ayers Software Token”, how can I do?
    You can contact our customer service hotline (852) 2763 3939 and our company will temporarily suspend your software token service.

  7. What should I input in the following ?

    a. For individual account, please enter you last 3 digits of the identification document (exclude the number in the bracket)
    b. For Corporate account, please enter the last 3 digits of the company Number, i.e. Certificate of Incorporation Number.

About – Account opening/Account Information changing

  1. How can I open a trading account ?

Our company offers three kinds of accounts which are individual, joint and corporate account.

  1. How long will it take to open a trading account ?

Opening an account normally takes two working days if you send all required documents.

  1. How can I change my personal information such as telephone number, address, email address, bank account number ?

Please print out and fill in the “Change of Account Holder’s Information” and post the original copy to  - Customer service department, Unit 1201-02, 12/F, West Tower, Shun Tak Centre,168-200 Connaught Road Central, Hong Kong

If client wants to change Residential Address, please provide a copy of address proof (recent three months) and sign on any empty space. (signature must same as the account opening form).

About – Cash/Stocks withdrawals and deposits

  1. How can I deposit money into my Trading account ?

You can make deposits into your account by using cheque, internal fund transfers, local remittances or telegraphic transfers.  For more details, please refers to “Deposit and Withdrawal”.

  1. How can I withdraw money from my Trading account ?

You can refer to “Deposit and Withdrawal”.

  1. Can I withdraw money immediately after I sell my stocks successfully ?

You can withdraw money at T+2 and have withdrawal fund from your Trading account.

If client wants to withdrawal even the fund is not settled from the Trading account, the client can apply to withdrawal. GMSL will consider it case by case. Also, it will be charged related interest cost and fees.

  1. How can I deposit the Stock ?

Please note that – 1. The Stock holder must be the same person of the Trading account
                                     holder

                                  2. You also need to ask the counterparties to make the instruction that
                                     deposit the Stock via CCASS

  1. How can I withdraw the Stock ?

About – Electronic Trading System (including Web Trading system and Mobile Trading system)

  1. The computer software that is required for using Web Trading system:
    For computers:  Internet Explorer 11+
    Google Chrome (Latest Version)
    Mozilla Firefox (Latest Version)
    Apple Safari 7+
    For Mobile Trading system : iOS 7.0 or above
    Android 4.2 or above, Android 4.4 or above will be recommended

  2. Can I use the same Trading account to login to two devices at the same time ?
    No, you can't. The other device must be logged out.

  3. For the transactions that are made via Electronic Trading system on my own, can I ask Account Manager to inquire or cancel the transactions ?
    Yes, you can. Please call your Account Manager for assistance.

  4. What can I do if GMSL Electronic Trading system is disconnected or error ?
    You can call your Account Manager or customer service hotline (852) 2763 3939 for placing orders.

  5. Where can I check the Trade record and Trading account statement ?
    For the Trade record, please login to Web Trading system. Then choose “Equity Market” > “Order Trade Report” and the “Date”. Select “Run Report” or “Export” (MS Excel format).
    For the Trading account statement, please login to Web Trading system. Then choose “Account management” > “e-statement” and select the month. Select “Find” on "Month" / "Daily" to run the e-statement.
